Mailing-lists

In addition to the articles and publications listed above, I contributed over the years to numerous mailing-lists. A search on my name in the archives of the mailing-lists listed below is guaranteed to come up with multiple hits: help to beginners, tips for difficult operations, patches and fixes, suggestions for future improvements, etc.

Various Java mailing-lists & Web sites
The language that sucks less. I frequently post messages to mailing-lists and Web sites dedicated to Java technologies:
Various FreeBSD mailing-lists
My operating system of choice. Strongly recommended for any server-type machine or network device (eg. gateways, firewalls, etc.): they will run for years without a hiccup.
Various Linux mailing-lists
I use Linux on desktop machines and laptops. It surpasses FreeBSD when it comes to uncommon hardware devices, audio and video extensions.
